2. Hosting and access data

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, technical data needed to deliver it is processed. This includes your IP address, access time, the page or file requested, browser and operating system information transmitted by your device and, where applicable, the referring page.

Processing enables us to provide a stable and secure website and detect and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website. STRATO processes hosting data on our behalf.

According to STRATO, IP addresses are retained for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks. Access logs provided to hosting customers contain anonymised IP addresses or hostnames. Aggregated access statistics provided by STRATO are based on server requests. We do not use our own analytics software or tracking cookies.

3. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us, we process the information you provide, including your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry, to handle and respond to your request.

Enquiries concerning a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to incoming requests. Where retention is legally required, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.

We delete the data when your enquiry has been resolved and further retention is no longer necessary. Statutory retention duties and retention needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected. Providing data is voluntary. Without the information needed to handle your request, we may be unable to respond.

4. Cookies, display settings and embedded content

This website does not itself set cookies or use browser storage for tracking or analytics. It has no contact form, embedded maps or videos, or social media plugins. Fonts are provided by your device; no fonts are loaded from external providers.

The light/dark display setting is carried in the page URL. It is not saved in cookies or browser storage. Language selection opens a separate German or English page. These features do not contact an external translation service.

External links open the website of the relevant provider, whose privacy information then applies. Email and telephone links open the corresponding application on your device.

5. Recipients and processing outside the EU

Within our company, access to personal data is restricted to people who need it for their work. Technical service providers receive data as necessary for hosting and communication. Disclosure to authorities or other parties takes place where legally required or otherwise permitted by a legal basis. The website itself does not initiate transfers of personal data outside the European Union or European Economic Area.

6. Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). We will stop processing the data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.

To exercise your rights, please use the contact details above.

7. Right to complain

If you believe that processing of your personal data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement.
